We often hear the term “duplicate-able” thrown around the direct sales industry. (Actually, that is not even a word!!)
Can I Duplicate The Direct Sales Business?
|
The real question that all potential consultants are asking is: “can I duplicate what he/she is doing if I start a direct sales business?”
|
 |
One of the best ways to get people to join your team is to make your business look easy. You have probably heard those commercials that proclaim, “so easy, a caveman can do it.” If it’s so easy a caveman can do it, you’ll have a steady stream of people knocking at your door.
You want your sales presentations and business have that special “curb appeal.” When it appears easy, it appeals to everyone. The more appealing it is, the easier it will be to recruit. If you make your business look difficult, no one will want to sign up!
Duplicate-able! Direct Sales Training
You want the way you present your shows to look easy, so others believe that they can duplicate it. You also want your direct sales training to be simple and easy to understand to encourage others to believe they can also be team leaders. If your methods are easy and understandable, new recruits will think, “wow, I can do that, too.” The easier it seems, the more likely it is that people will take that extra step to become a team leader.
Having a “duplicate-able” system of training will also encourage your team members to assume positions of leadership in your organization. If the training system is easy to duplicate, more team members will step up and become team leaders. Encouraging others to be leaders will not take away from your position as team leader, nor will it take away from your profits. The more leaders you have, the more your business will grow and expand.
Even if your business is already a success, you still want to earn more money, right? If you have a training system that works and is easy to duplicate, you may be able to push that success to a new level.
Team Training Systems
Having a system that shows team members step by step how to prosper in the direct sales business will attract new members because it looks so easy! Your training system should give step by step instructions on how to:
- Recruit
- Train
- Motivate
- Market and promote
- Send newsletters, write articles and blog posts
- Hold effective training meetings
- Give sales presentations
- Train team leaders
Your “duplicate-able” system will train, develop, and encourage team members to become self-sufficient team leaders. With a direct sales training system like that, you’ll be inundated with new recruits who want to get in on your easy, yet profitable system.
Team Training Game = Easy To Duplicate System Of Training

What I discovered during my Coach Excellence program was that the Questions are the Answers.
And the only way to ask better questions is to become a much better listener.
|
The skills acquired have enabled me to become a better listener by developing heart centered listening. I now listen with my heart much more than my head. By making note of what my client (or anyone for that matter) is telling to me and using that information, I can now ask much better questions to pull additional information all while gaining a clear understanding of what is being said. I would say that I truly didn’t understand the ‘value’ in asking questions before.
I have always been ‘the talker’ not so much ‘the listener’. By becoming a better listener, I now talk less and take the time to process my thoughts before speaking. I have learned how to ‘peel the onion’, by digging deeper. Slowly pulling layer by layer of information allows me to gather more information. Then I repeat what I heard to verify my accuracy.
| My experiences with coaching have made a difference in my life as well as the life of others. I have the strongest relationship with my 19 year old son that I have had in years. As a coach, I learned to listen more and respond by asking questions to help him learn his own answers (instead of me telling him what to do). I am less stressed, and it enables him to find his own solutions. |
|
There is quite an improvement in our relationship because I allow him to finish his sentence (or rant) and then take the time to process a response, usually in the form of another question. The arguing has not totally stopped, but it is the best it has been in quite some time.
There is truth to the saying that “Silence is Golden.” The space that silence creates allows both of us to be much more calm in our challenging discussions.
