Meet Dana Phillips, Director of Leadership Development
|
Dana Phillips is the DSWA's Director of Leadership Development. Dana has been involved in direct sales for over 30 years. She started in the profession to "earn a little money," fell in love with her new avocation, stepped away from her work as a school teacher, and rose to the top of her company.
Prior to joining the DSWA team as a Special Projects manager in September, 2007, she served as Director of Training in a large network marketing company, which broadened her understanding of the similarities and differences in party plan and network marketing. As a life long learner, Dana is a certified Franklin Covey Coach and trainer of DiSC. She never tires of sharing the basics of building a business and enjoys writing training materials for the DSWA clients.
She and her husband, Neil, have worked together for most of their 34 years of marriage. Dana loves working from home, visiting their eight grandchildren, and speaking. She is passionate about promoting the DSWA, an organization that has lifted the image of the profession and empowered women to be their best. She has lived in a variety of states in the Midwest and Northeast and currently resides in the Dallas area. You can connect with Dana at Elite@mydswa.org.
