Ask Powerful Coaching Questions

As the world becomes more connected than ever through social media and the internet, I find people are challenged every day to make the right choices and handle difficult situations in their businesses.  Self doubt and low self esteem are critical issues for entrepreneurs in today’s busy world.  Using the services of a coach is a positive approach to helping them build meaningful relationships and focus on handling these issues.

I am known for my “business approach” to planning and implementing a road map for people to follow to their desired level of achievement.  I take people through my strategic program called, “The Blossom Effect” which effectively helps them discover their strengths to grow themselves and believe in themselves and their business.

DSWA Coach Excellence

Through the DSWA Coach Excellence program, I learned many valuable tools to improve this program. One of these tools included a thorough study of asking powerful questions. direct sales coaching

I carry out this skill on every coaching call and find greater success in communicating and helping a client move to a more confident level in building her business.  I really enjoy this process in helping a client discover her belief in her ability to perform at a higher level of success.

Each of us may have a great plan and a winning strategy, but I believe it’s a woman’s level of confidence and belief in herself that affects her ability to take action.  My responsibility as a coach is to help women discover these abilities and the modules and webinars provided by the teachers at DSWA Coach Excellence enabled me to improve these skills in becoming a more qualified, authentic coach.

In my coaching experience over the last 15 years, I have used the “Expert Question” technique to discover a person’s needs.  The training on this topic at the DSWA Coach Excellence School on asking powerful questions from a coaching perspective was a huge benefit to me in adding value to others.  Participating in each webinar, I took copious notes and wrote copious questions that were presented on most of the modules including goal setting, commitment, accountability, feedback and building conversations.  From this, I created a “Powerful Question” folder which I use over and over in my present coaching practice.

Powerful questions are the ones that are simple, direct and open ended.  They provide a platform to help discover and articulate our best beliefs.  What are other coaches doing to discover and hold onto their powerful questions?
