e
share this story of how the Direct Selling Woman's Alliance
came to be in answer to so many
e-mails from our visitors and Charter Members.
We appreciate
your interest and hope to give you just a glimpse of the
heart-felt effort and unwavering commitment that has brought
this Alliance to you.
In essence, this journey has been a mission of the heart. Once the idea came to us and the vision became clear, we felt we had no alternative than move forward and allow ourselves to be guided by distributors, colleagues, friends and spirit.
We are delighted with what the Alliance has grown to be and excited about what it will soon become.

Nicki Keohohou,
was in many ways, the inspiration for the founding of
the Direct Selling Women's Alliance.
Having worked in the industry for more than 25 years
as a distributor, leader, corporate executive and then
consultant,
she saw first hand,
the a vision of one unifying organization desperate
need for an Alliance dedicated solely to the needs
of the distributor. She held
a vision of one unifying organization that would unite
direct sellers while providing them with the information,
resources and support they need to succeed. |
As many direct selling
leaders do, Nicki had involved her daughter, Gracanne,
in the world of direct selling at a very early age. During
every
phase of Nicki's impressive career the two worked side-by-side,
prompting Gracanne to grow into a sharp businesswoman
with a genuine love of the direct selling industry keen
expertise and a genuine love of the direct selling industry.
Over
the years, the two held their
vision of an Alliance close to their heart, knowing
that some day the right opportunity would present itself
to make the dream a reality. |
|
That opportunity did in fact arrive in the form of a new acquaintance and soon to be dear friend. While working on a consulting project for an up and coming direct selling company, Nicki and Grace had the pleasure of working with Jane Deuber, a woman who had forged her own
The three soon bonded around their common mission of empowering others and a mutual love for the industry and the women who make it so special.
|
Long after the consulting project was completed, Nicki shared with Jane her dream of establishing an Alliance for direct selling women.
Believing their meeting was an act of divine intervention and recognizing the Alliance as an idea whose time had certainly come, the three united with a steadfast commitment to establish an Alliance of such value and integrity that it would forever transform the direct selling industry. |
