The Home we will build together serves as a symbol of commitment to women who are striving to live a rich and rewarding life.

	Make a donation using our on-line secured donation form. Whether you donate $10 or $1000... every bit counts!
	Tell your company about the Habitat For Humanity project and the opportunity they have to be a member of the Home Builders Hall of Fame. (Companies can learn more by emailing CorporateService@dswa.org.)
	Join our Make A Difference network and receive regular updates of progress, programs and ways you can help. (No donations required, just your positive energy and efforts.)

Why a “Women Build” Home?
In the United States alone, more than 12 million children- one out of six-live in poverty.
	A Women Build is not about excluding men; it is about including women. The program brings together women from all walks of life to actively address the problem of children living in poverty by building Habitat for Humanity houses. Safe, decent housing is critical to a child’s health and development, yet children are the largest age group living in poverty.

The need is great, but it can be met.

Women can be part of the solution- one house - one family at a time.

Throughout the United States and around the world, women are positively impacting the future of children by making home ownership a present reality for all families.

Women crews have already built more than 450 Habitat for Humanity houses within the United States, and they are now building in more than a dozen other countries.
Women Build projects provide an environment in which women can feel comfortable learning skills they might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn.
