Direct Sales Consultant Blogging = SEO Corporate Results

When Direct Sales Consultants Blog Company Page #1

seo, page 1 How would you like to claim the top 20 Google search results for your direct sales company? Your company CAN dominate page # 1. Every web page on the internet has that opportunity.

A web page is like real estate. Every time you put a web page up you are putting up search engine bait. Just like fishing, certain types of web pages are more conducive to catching the big fish. (Page #1 in Google.)

Most direct sales corporations have hundreds or even thousands of web pages, including their teams’ affiliate pages. Affiliate pages rarely, if ever, do well in the search engine results due to the fact that they are predominately duplicate content. Google hates duplicate content, so chances are neither the main corporate site nor any of your affiliate sites show up. If some of the affiliate sites do show up, it is usually for your name, not your niche-related keywords.

Search Engine Results, Top SERP

Having your website show up on the first search engine results page (SERP) is somewhat complicated and yet not all that hard when you practice certain basic SEO techniques. Google uses a complicated algorithm to determine which pages are serving up the best and most authoritative value for the searcher, based on the words typed into the search bar. Good results start with certain basics and the duplicate content issue is a big one. Blogs, and specifically WordPress blogs, are one of the most search engine-friendly formats for a web page because their style is conducive to achieving basic search engine goals. In simple terms, they are designed to be search engine-friendly.

Many websites that we visit now are actually WordPress themed sites for that very reason. Blogging is a dynamic website management system that allows the user to easily add a new page anytime they want. Good bloggers add new articles several times per week to get maximum search engine visibility.

Let’s say you have 3000 sales consultants in your organization and half of them were blogging about your company and your niche. Let’s further propose that each blogger is only putting up 2 posts per week. Those 3000 new articles per week going into Google results are keyword-friendly to your company and your niche.

Now, take that a step further. These articles can and will be on any topic the blogger wants. If your product line is healthy, natural foods and spices, you could have articles on the web in a variety of different categories, such as:

  • Grill Tips with Natural Herbs
  • Fast Cooking Techniques with Fresh Spices
  • Spice Up Your Diet with Oregano
  • Free Recipes for Summer Salads
  • Healthy Recipes for Stay At Home Moms
  • Eating On The Go

The list is unlimited. When direct sales organizations include blogging and SEO education into their team training, your company can and will be showing up on page one of Google. With 3000 new articles (Google bait) rolling out every week, just think of the potential.

Social Media Marketing Includes Blogging

Social media marketing is getting a lot of attention. It is a field of marketing that many direct sales corporations are reluctantly getting involved in and other companies have embraced. Social media marketing is here to stay. What some people do not realize is that blogging is a piece that is often forgotten. With the “coming together” of search engine results and social networks, the blog is a key piece in setting a company apart from the competition. It is a format that your company can use to highlight a wide variety of keywords. These are words that attract potential customers that do not already know that they want YOU. In the example above, some customers may look for the direct selling company because they know that they are interested in buying natural herbs from fictitious “Famous Natural Herb Company”. What a blog will do for the “Famous Natural Herb Company” is bring them customers who never heard of “Famous Natural Herb Company” but searched Google for “fast healthy recipes” then decided that their family needs natural herbs after enjoying the article.

The concern that most direct sales companies have with blogging is brand control. The key to good control on the internet is a solid company online policy and a company-approved blog installation service.
