Party Plan Tips and Ideas
	If you have a party plan business and want to book more parties, you’ve come to the right place! Each month the DSWA brings you 25 fresh new ideas for marketing your business and filling your schedule.
Some tips are simple common-sense ideas you may NOT be using on a consistent basis, others are innovative and a little on the wild side that require a little courage but create big results.

Mark your calendar and check back monthly for new business building tips and ideas.

Party Plan Booking Tips
1.	Send a catalog to a co-worker that has moved.
2.	Call past hostesses.
3.	Ask friends to have a show.
4.	Post a catalog in the teacher's lounge at your child's school.
5.	Hold an open house.
6.	Advertise in your alumni newsletter and/or local newspaper.
7.	Post a catalog in the employee lounge.
8.	Have a booth at the school fair.
9.	Give a catalog to the receptionist at your doctor or dentist office.
10.	Put the current catalog in your neighbor's door. Include a 10% off coupon.
11.	Send a catalog to other direct sellers and offer to exchange shows.
12.	Advertise in your church bulletin.
13.	Take business cards and promotional materials everywhere you go.
14.	Host an office party or brunch.
15.	Include a business card of flyer with your bill payments.
16.	Host a show before a PTA meeting.
17.	Mail out catalogs and a wish list to neighbors and offer to get together.
18.	Sponsor a fundraiser for your favorite charity.
19.	Get a list from Welcome Wagon. New people may be looking for a consultant or a new job in your area.
20.	Set up a display at a craft fair.
21.	Participate in a school fundraiser.
22.	Have your husband or significant other promote the products at work.
23.	Have your family members carry your business cards to distribute.
24.	Hold a Christmas Shopping Show for men (or for Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, etc.).
25.	Set up a display at your area mall for a drawing (Check with mall Activities Director for approval).
